The rooms are fabulous and perfect, with an electronic key card, coffee/tea making machines, and a work desk. The cost is £ 135. Every staff member is nice and very kind and strives to meet your needs. Excellent and particularly good location right across from a park, the hotel is next to a subway station. Don't forget to visit nearby Charlotte Gastrobar & Cafe, they have best coffee ever😀

Incredibly comfortable rooms with a spa bath and 4 windows. A wide range of goodies for breakfast. - Very central location with easy access to the old part and the river.

The hotel was a wonderful base for enjoying a downtown area, just off restaurant, the centre of the city and the main shopping streets. We found out fair prices in the property. The staff were nice and accommodating too. The location was marvellous and brilliant, quite close to a medieval footbridge.

The location in an area with easy access to the old part as well as the river was exceptionally nice. The rooms were beautifully designed and large with smoke detectors for our safety.

The staff was amicable and excellent. The room was stylish and spacious with an incredibly large bed. The hotel is located in the heart of the city.

He had been in the Barceló Ourense about ten years ago, when it was still the classic Hotel San Martín. The refurbishment, completed just over a year ago, has brought about a total revolution in a facility that was already somewhat outdated at the time. The hotel is now modern, with careful design details, very functional, fully accessible, with spacious rooms and very comfortable beds that offer a perfect rest. The location is still excellent, a stone's throw from the commercial area and close to the old city (Cathedral, Burgas, tapas streets, etc.). I have loved the result of the transformation.
At least in my room, shower presented a little problem, in my view. As it was fully accessible, shower tray was at the same level as the bathroom floor and, despite having curtains, result was that, using the rain shower option, water "flooded" everything. second day I opted to wrap some towels around it and use the normal shower and water didn't come out anymore, it would be interesting to look for some solution to this little problem.

hotel is fine. It is comfortable in terms of location, they are in the middle of reforming so you can not make use of the parking and overall appearance of the reception and hotel inside leaves a little to be desired because of it. I am sure that as soon as the reforms are finished it will be beautiful. rooms are well soundproofed, ours had the reform almost finished, have a huge and comfortable bed but the air conditioning was not working and it was very hot in them.
I didn't like being recommended to your cafeteria/restaurant for breakfast. My opinion regarding this service is very bad. We ordered a beer and a coffee, I thought it was very bad taste that they only put skewers on those people I guess they knew and nothing on the rest. As soon as I told the waiter I answered with a: I saw only a coffee, I give you the cane excuse and etc etc... total that we gave him 5 euros and I charge us the cane and coffee. I suppose that again he did not realize that in the bill were the two consumptions. shame and very unprofessional. I don't recommend it at all.

room we requested was one of the most expensive ones because we wanted the whirlpool bath in the room, truth is that the idea of this room is very well thought out except for what I will comment below.
The room had a window that made us see the whole street but also the opposite, it was not tinted glass, so we didn't really enjoy seeing the city but we had to have the curtain drawn at all times and what would be the blind if we turned on the light, something we had to do often as the weather was quite off. It was a pity that we could not enjoy 100% the room that cost us so much and a window like that. In addition, while we discovered or not that the windows were not tinted anyone could be watching us from the block in front. We were quite upset to find out because we also paid for our privacy. . Another thing of the room to improve is the soundproofing, at night it was difficult to rest with the traffic of the cars, you could hear everything and did not expect that from a hotel like Barceló. . Something I also missed was a swimming pool, although it would have been indoors given the climate of the area. Although during my stay it was quite hot and I felt like it.

I had a great stay at this hotel! The room was spacious and the bed was incredibly comfortable. Additionally, the location was perfect, being right across from a lovely park and easy access to both the old and river parts of the city. The breakfast was also fantastic, with plenty of options including fresh fruit and pastries. Finally, the staff were friendly and helpful throughout my stay.
All was good.

The location was very good, and the parking facilities, public and the hotel parking was close to the hotel. The public parking was only 1,5€ more expencive per day.
The cleaning of the room was poor, a lot of dust everywhere, and it was a lot of hair in the bathroom. The hotel has not been renovated the last 20 years, and the public areas is the same as for 30 years ago. this is not a 4 star hotel, closer to a 2 star.
